Our mission
A replacement, not a compromise
We manufacture 100% compostable products made from bioplastics using vegetable and corn starch which are a perfect alternative to harmful plastic packaging. They provide the same strength, functionality and performance but do not cause any harm to our Mother Earth.
That last sentence is the entire design brief. A compostable bag only changes anything if the person behind the counter reaches for it without thinking — the same feel in the hand, the same load, the same competitive price. Anything that asks a shop to accept less gets quietly replaced by plastic again within a week.
So the work is not to make a bag that is merely well intentioned. It is to make one that behaves exactly like the thing it replaces, right up until the moment it is thrown away — and then behaves nothing like it at all.

The material
Corn goes in. Soil comes out.
The interesting part of a compostable bag is not the bag. It is the four steps that turn a field crop into something that carries a full shop home and then disappears into the ground.

It begins as a crop
The feedstock is vegetable and corn starch — grown, harvested and replanted. Nothing is drilled for, and nothing is taken out of the ground that does not grow back.

Starch becomes resin
That starch is converted into polylactic acid — a plant-derived bioplastic resin. It arrives as pellets and it behaves like pellets, which is why it can run on conventional film-making equipment at all.

Resin becomes film
The resin is extruded into film with the strength of conventional plastic: the same stretch, the same tear resistance, the same performance at the counter. A bag that fails is not an alternative to anything.

Film returns to biomass
In a composting environment the bag breaks down completely in 90 to 180 days into nutrient-rich biomass. No fragments, no microplastic, no toxic residue — the end of the story is soil.
